On Monday July 8th we welcomed Anders David to "Team Bettendorf"

He weighed in at 8 pounds, 12 ounces

Spring!

Finally warm enough for ice cream cones outside with the team.

Samp

This sweet guy found his boots and slipped out of the house right after lunch.
"I want go play in the samp (swamp)".

Hans

Today while Hans was eating lunch, he grabbed three carrots and made an H.

After lunch he and Rachel went downstairs and Hans came up dressed like a puppy.

Homemade track meet

We spent our Sunday afternoon at home enjoying the sunshine. The kids put together their own track meet in the driveway - complete with race bibs, megaphone and cheering fans. Good fun.

Cousin time

Today we celebrated Gretta's birthday and enjoyed a fantastic afternoon outside. Always fun to spend an afternoon at the farm.

Syrup Season

We had a fantastic syrup season this year.  All the snow made sap collection easier because we could use the snowmobile for the whole season.  60 taps.  Over 600 gallons of sap.  

Better than 15 gallons of syrup!  Delicious hobby.
