Musssels

Rachel thinks mussels are delicious! We read a book about a little girl who gathered muscles under the ice, so Rachel wanted to try some. Yum!

Up too late

Hans likes a little special time with just us. After all the other kids fall asleep he often comes out for a visit. Eating blueberries and looking at the Lego catalog. 

Our First Triathlon

Today our family did our first Triathlon! Mom, Hannah, Megan, Luke, Lars & Della all finished with great times all around! Dad and the rest of the gang were our Cheer & Support Crew. We spent the day in swim suits & triathlon suits, biking at full speed, running, being with friends, cheering, switching from one sport to another and overall, having a great time together.

Team Bettendorf took advantage of the calm water this afternoon and put the boats in the big lake. Simply beautiful!

Waterskiing

We spent the 4th of July at the lake - waterskiing and soaking in the water. 

 Luke is learning to drop one ski.
